After a successful 26 year Real Estate career I retired in November 2017 and I began my blog journey in March 2018.
Blogging reminds me of the question “How do you eat an Elephant?” One bite at a time. Blogging is one step at a time and sometimes it’s one step forward and two steps back…Ugh! I have been elated to actually figure something out for myself only to be let down again when I don’t understand something, can’t figure it out on my own or with help…really?! This journey has been interesting to say the least. I’m in it for the long haul though.
I have had the fortunate experience of meeting the below individuals on-line that have helped me along the way. I believe I’m where I am with blogging today because of their assistance.
Kim Anderson, Just Keep Blogging – Kim’s FB page is full of great resources, other bloggers and challenges. I stumbled upon the FB group in the middle of a 20-day 10-blog post challenge. When I arrived, the challenge had begun 10 days earlier. I jumped in and wrote 10 blog posts in 10 days. I felt so accomplished and I am so glad I found the site. Kim also has a consulting business to assist bloggers. I recently enrolled in her 12-week Blog Growth Strategy. Her courses are reasonably priced and a good value.
Monique (Mo) Solomon, Help A Blogger Out – great FB group where Mo shares what she has learned as a blogger. She offers a lot of free advice as well as coaching services for a fee. Mo saw that I was struggling and took it upon herself to do a mini-audit of my blog site during her weekly FB live. Her FB group has a wealth of information for the taking.
Grayson Bell, Blogging on WordPress – extremely helpful and quick to respond. I was truly ready to throw the towel in and forget about blogging. Just trying to set up hosting and get the Word Press site up was daunting. I’m not a technical person at all. His company is iMark Interactive…check him out.
Pat Flynn, Smart Passive Income – although I haven’t met Pat personally I feel like I already know him. High energy, great spirit and always willing to lend a hand. He is extremely knowledgeable and provides great value…free. Check out his podcast for learning on the go.
Paul Scrivens, Billionaire Blog Club – I saved the best for last…awesome club and group of people. The best value for your money…you pay once and you are a lifetime member. The course creator is a very generous and knowledgeable man. Enrollment into the club is closing, 4/13/18 midnight, but you can sign up for email alerts so you know when it opens up again for enrollment.
Some of the experienced bloggers are extremely generous with their time and seem to like helping the new bloggers out. I can say without reservation that the bloggers mentioned in this post have been extremely helpful to me and I am forever grateful. I would entertain purchasing their services and products and of course recommend them to others.
And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.
